  • Biography/Overview: Dr. Sharadkumar Shah is a distinguished and dynamic academic leader with an extensive career spanning 35 years in teaching, administration, and consulting within the higher education and corporate sectors. He is currently serving as the Principal of the Bakliwal Foundation College of Arts, Commerce, and Science in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, a significant leadership role he undertook in July 2023. Driven by an objective to spearhead strategic initiatives, encourage research, and elevate academic standards, he possesses a forward-thinking approach to institutional governance and faculty development.

His robust academic background is remarkably diverse, encompassing qualifications in both science and management: he holds a Ph.D. in Management-HR, DMS in HR, MMS, M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry, a B.Sc. with distinction, PGDBM, DMLT, and most recently, a BG LLB degree obtained in May 2025.

Dr. Shah is a University of Mumbai approved Post Graduate Teacher for M.Sc. (Inorganic Chemistry) and an Associate Professor in the subject of Applied Chemistry, demonstrating his deep foundational expertise across disciplines. His professional journey includes establishing three Engineering Colleges and two Arts, Commerce, and Science Colleges, showcasing his profound ability to build and manage educational institutions from the ground up. Before his current role, he served as Principal at DSP College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Ramsheth Thakur College of Commerce & Science, and as Professor and Head of the Department of Engineering, Sciences & Humanities and Principa-in-Charger at Vishwatmak Om Gurudev College of Engineering. Earlier positions included roles as Professor & Head at Mulshi Institute of Technology & Research, various academic ranks at PCT College of Engineering, a lectureship at MCT College of Engineering, and even an administrative officer position at A to Z Trade Lines in Pune early in his career.

His administrative skills are comprehensive, covering campus administration, staff recruitment, pay fixations, HRM, and essential liaising with statutory and regulatory bodies like AICTE, DTE, and the University. Beyond institutional management, Dr. Shah has been an active advisor to the UPSC from 2011 and served as a paper setter and subject expert for UPSC examinations.

His research output is extensive, with involvement in several projects, including sanctioned research grants from the University of Mumbai for minor projects in chemistry and a Ph.D. project focused on human resource management challenges in Indian higher education. He is also a prolific innovator, having been granted certificates [10 Design Patents + 2 Utility Patents + 2 Copy Rights] for numerous design and utility patents, such as those for an “Artificial Intelligence Based Electrosurgical Unit,” a “Rechargeable Core HR Recruitment Helpdesk Device,” and an “AI Enabled Helpdesk Analytics Device”.

Dr. Shah has authored Eight books (including those on Applied Chemistry for Mumbai University syllabus) & 2 Books on Human Resource Management for Management Students. He has published over 48 papers in national and international journals, with topics ranging from “Human-Centric Cybersecurity” to “Chanakya’s Wisdom for Digital Defense”.

His contributions have earned him 18 prestigious awards, including the “Global Leadership Award 2025,” the “Education Icon Award Year 2025,” and the “Innovative Principal of the Year-2023”. On a personal note, Dr. Shah, he maintains a deep passion for numismatics, collecting national and international commemorative coins and paper money, and enjoys participating in social activities through non-government organizations like the J D Shah Foundation & Rudra Foundation.

  • Biography/Overview: Rohit Mhaske is an Assistant Professor specializing in history, passionate about sharing knowledge regarding Indian-world mythology, crime, and history. He holds a BA in History from Ruia College, an MA in History from Mumbai University IDOL, and an IFS Universal Certification in Forensic Psychology and Criminal Profiling.
