Justice Kamalkishor Tated hails from a small village in Buldhana District, Maharashtra. His father served as the Law Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra and was thereafter elevated as a Judge of the High Court, laying a strong foundation for a distinguished legal legacy.

Justice Tated completed his graduation from Bombay and obtained his LL.B. degree from Government Law College, Mumbai. During his legal career, he served as the Government Pleader in the High Court for the State of Maharashtra. As an advocate, he actively handled several matters under the Maharashtra Animal Preservation Act and played a significant role in safeguarding numerous cattle from slaughter.

While the legal profession has been a longstanding tradition in his family—with over 15 members pursuing careers in law—Justice Tated and his family have also made substantial contributions to the field of social service, dedicating time and effort toward societal welfare.

He was elevated as a Judge of the High Court in 2008 and rendered distinguished judicial service for 13 years. Subsequently, on 10 December 2021, he was appointed as the Chairperson of the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission, where he served for a period of three years. His tenure was marked by a judicious balance of legal rigor and humanitarian concern, reflecting his deep commitment to safeguarding fundamental rights.

Justice Tated is a dedicated and committed professional with a strong sense of social responsibility. Dr. Keshavrao Khandojirao Jadhav was born on 5th August 1960. He has built a distinguished career in education and examination administration, culminating in a significant role at the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in New Delhi .
He began his academic journey in Karnataka, completing his S.S.L.C. in 1976 and a P.U.C. in 1979 before earning a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering in 1985 from Karnataka Dharwad. He further pursued a M.E. in Production Management in 1993 and obtained his Ph.D. in 2009 from Mumbai, focusing on Computer Aided Design of Rolling Mill Components and Roll Pass Sequence .
Dr. Jadhav started his career as a Principal at S. S. Education Society’s Mahasatee Polytechnic in ULGA at just 25 years old in 1985 . He went on to serve as Principal at Konkan Gyanapeeth Engineering College, Karjat, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Polytechnic College, Yanam, holding key examination responsibilities at each institution .
His career took a significant turn when he served as a Director in the Examination Reforms wing of the UPSC, a position he held across two periods, starting in 1999. In this role, he was responsible for confidential work, coordinating with professors nationwide for prestigious exams like the Civil Services and Engineering Services . A notable achievement was being the first officer to conduct On-Line Computer Based Recruitment Examinations for the Govt. of India through UPSC.
Throughout his career, he focused on academic and administrative leadership, budget management, industry collaboration, and student welfare, including addressing psychiatric tendencies, gender harassment, and safety .
